Feed My Reads at 6 Months Old with Kendall Carlsson

Feed My Reads recently turned 6 months old and as we are all about those in our community who make the place great we had to reach out to you and make sure our community members know of all those great people they can get to know here and so here are some questions for you.

When did you decide to join our Feed My Reads community?

I discovered it just after its inception and could see it was an excellent concept.

What made you join our Feed My Reads community?

I had just published my debut novel “Seven by Seven”, created an author account on Instagram and was actively looking for promotional opportunities.

What do you enjoy about being a part of the Feed My Reads community?

It is interesting to find out what other authors have created and to learn of their journeys to publication. It’s a tough labour of love in a competitive industry and I have a hell of a lot of respect for anyone who takes it on.

Has Feed My Reads helped you in your author journey at all?

I am grateful to have had my novel featured in a post - hope this inspired a few fans of dystopian sci-fi/fantasy fiction to take a look!

Have you met any people you've formed close bonds with through the Feed My Reads community?

Not as yet. I hope to participate much more in the future but with a sequel in the works and two “day jobs” to pay the bills, finding free time can be a challenge.

If you could tell people what the Feed My Reads community it all about and why they should join us then what would it be?

A great opportunity for networking, sharing experiences and peer support. It’s nice to be able to see such incredible diversity in what is being produced.

How can those in the Feed My Reads community connect with you?
