Time To Feed My Reads

Hello to everyone reading this and just to say a massive thank you for taking time time out to do so. If you have been part of the Feed My Reads community you may notice we do things a little bit differently and this is yet another example of this. If you are part of our community then you love books and so in an ideal world we would have every single book you read be reviewed but we all realise this is not an ideal world that we live in and so things like mental health, confidence in your own reviewing abilities, etc all cause those reviews to not be posted and so readers not hear your opinions and authors also not get the praise that they deserve.  Once again we tried to think outside of the box in how to make it easier for you to leave your feelings about the books you're reading even if you are not able for any reason to review (even if it maybe that you are going to review a little later).   First of all I want to start with a genuine thank you to everyone who has made Feed My Reads become the amazing community that it is.  We do get people commenting that they love being part of a book community which is full of positivity and supportiveness and this is exactly what we are all about.  Those thanks we get from those people when they comment are thanks to every one of you making people feel this way and so a massive well done for creating the community. So, next we come to the point behind this blog post.  We are all here because we love books but I am regularly seeing people asking for reading recommendations and for me the best people to give those recommendations are those in the community but I realised that we need a tool to make this even easier for you. Hello to all of you wonderful people reading this post. Do you remember when you used to get achievement badges for things?  Scouts for different things, Brownies for different things, swimming badges for different strokes or distances, etc.  Remember how proud you felt when you got them?  Why did that have to stop?  Well, we've decided it needn't stop and so we're delighted to announce a range of badges to reward your achievements.
