A thank you to Papillon du Père Publishing

Image
At Feed My Reads we love having great people from all areas of the publishing world as part of our community and so we were delighted when the folks at Papillon du Père Publishing reached out to us in regards to doing a giveaway which we recently ran and saw some of our Feed My Reads members get free books from Papillon du Père Publishing. We did not know how many winners there would be but Jay from Papillon du Père Publishing was able to confirm that he had given 11 books away to the winners which we are very thankful for.  If you don't already follow them then please do give Papillon du Père Publishing a follow as they are really great guys and well worth keeping up to date with.  If you do give them a follow then please let them know that Feed My Reads sent you. You can find them at -  Papillon du Père Publishing

Frances Quinn interview

AUTHOR INTERVIEW A little introduction: I’m Frances Quinn, and I’m the author of two historical novels, The Smallest Man, published Jan 2021, and That Bonesetter Woman, published July 21 2022. When I’m not writing fiction, I’m a journalist and copywriter, and I live in Brighton with my husband and three Tonkinese cats. When did your love of books begin? Very early. Both my mum and dad left school at 15, but despite not getting much of an education, they were keen readers and good with words. My mum read to me when I was very small, and taught me to read before I even started school. I don’t remember a time when I didn’t love books and, especially, stories.  When did you start to have the wish to become an author? When I was about seven, I wrote a story called The Adventures of Squirrel Nutkin, about a squirrel with a girlfriend called Susie and a liking for pork chops. My teacher told my mum that one day I could write books good enough to be published, and I think the dream started...

Papillon du Père Publishing  is a niche publishing label that works with authors of commercial and literary fiction, both established and new. P du P is mission-driven, aiming to bring to market quality work often overlooked by mainstream publishers. We work a dual model, publishing both  traditionally  and through an agile  hybrid  system that guarantees publication for independent authors. We work meaningfully with writers on their writing journey. Ask us for any testimonials regarding how our team might be able to help you on your writing and publishing journey: let our authors, clients, and associates tell you! We can temporarily add you to our Facebook writers’ group,  Authorial Points of View , where a number of authors, clients, and colleagues chat and support each other. Thanks for stopping by. As you will be aware by now, Feed My Reads is constantly looking at new and exciting ways to allow our community to have more ways to connect and to be able to find our content even easier, thanks to this continued work we are doing we are now able to confirm that we are on Pinterest. First of all a little about why we are on Pinterest, we have created a huge amount of content for our blog and will continue to do this but with more people finding the Feed My Reads community every day we felt that some of the stuff we have put on earlier will potentially be missed out on and don't want this to happen.  We have created areas on our blog to make it easier to find our content so that older posts are not missed out on but on top of this we felt that having a space on Pinterest would make things even easier to find so that p...
