Jenee M. Edwards/Morning Star interview

AUTHOR INTERVIEW

A little introduction:

Author Jenee M. Edwards goes by her spiritual name Morning Star she grew up in a small town New Brunswick, New Jersey. She received her GED and studied an online degree for a technical school. Worked in retail between three major corporations as well as stepping foot into the heath care industry. Writing is her passion and purpose but she also has a craving for fashion. Movies, art, music, foods, reading, taking walks, spirituality/meditation boardwalks/beach, and trying new wines are some of her comforts.

When did your love of books begin?

I published my first book in 2015 but since I was younger I always was a fan of reading books and I was taught that reading is very fundamental it takes you to another zone in a good way.

When did you start to have the wish to become an author?

Believe it or not I never imagined that I would be writing books to be honest it was something God directed me to do. Being on a spiritual journey for quite some time now it was a space to reflect, release, and heal all at the same time learning and finding out who I was.

How have you found the process for becoming an author?

Well with any process nothing is overnight or easy and we all have those growing spurts. However, quite interesting and amazing yet weird and wild lol sometimes when writing I'm like wow did this really come from little ole me being 4'11 with such a huge imagination. Most importantly, it allows me to connect to so many other gifted individuals along this journey and it reminds you that we are all doing something so amazing.

What would you say to those wanting to become an author?

Well I would say if it's something you want to do then just do it life is about risks sometimes we just have to jump and try different things. But the art of it all would be to just write figure it out later write and begin now. If you keep thinking about it then maybe there is a reason why you should.

Tell us about your book/books:

Thoughts & Collection by JME the very first book I published it is a thought provoking emotional read where you learn to release what no longer serves you and you get a better understanding of people, places, and things in life. I shared the darkness of a journey so that others could feel the light and not be alone. That in due time joy comes in the morning and that God can take us from pain to purpose.
Welcome to Adult Candy Land was a fun and exciting book to write it's an erotic poetry volume for adults only. I wanted to create a playground where singles and adults could roam free so I thought it was pretty cool to step abroad into scenting wild and fun.
My newest release is My Poetic Passport The Laws of Love a very empowering and inspirational read. It leaves such a high vibrational frequency a read for all women and girls I worked very hard on this book and I am leaving an indelible mark in this world and the fabric of these words in this book will stain you in a way a book has never.

What do you love about the writing/reading community?

Reading is uplifting it exercises the mind writing sets you free I love it.
You get to connect with so many other passionate people, share your poetry/readings support artists as others support you. I say artists because that's what we are we create life with our words.

If you could say anything to your readers what would it be?

I would say love me or not but I'm that spark a different vibe and that I am leaving an indelible mark with my authenticity alone.

Where can people connect with you?

People can connect and engage with me on Instagram @mosuga34 and Twitter @strawberry_icin all my books are available on Amazon as well and Goodreads.
