Review:

Sal Nudo is an author who I have never had the pleasure to read anything by and so when deciding which of his work to go for I opted to check out his non-fiction work first of all and I was really glad that I did as this book showed someone who has worked to develop their journalistic skills and utilise these skills in this book which is a selection of insights into the interesting people who Sal has met and had the pleasure to get to know a little.  These are normal, everyday people who have interesting tales to tell and thanks to the way Sal is able to tell their stories the reader is not left bored with this non-fiction offering but instead will find themselves enjoying each of these short stories and being impressed by a writer who clearly has a real talent.

This non-fiction offering is a really well written piece and great introduction to an author who is well worth checking out.  I'd say this is a great way to try a non-fiction work that is short, an easy read and gives you a chance to see just how special those everyday people we meet can actually be.
