When did your love of books begin?

Before I could read.


When did you start to have the wish to become an author?

I began in 3rd grade.


How have you found the process for becoming an author?

Exciting--but the marketing/advertising is exhausting & expensive.


What would you say to those wanting to become an author?

It takes passion, dedication, commitment & perseverance but you'll also discover unlimited worlds inside you.


Tell us about your book/books:

For adults - When We Were Warm: A Futuristic Time Travel Romance

My romance book is about a nurse who witnesses a murder, then meets an unusual man who says he's a time traveller from the year 2050.

I also have some journals for adults and a children's book that just earned a 5-star seal on reader's favourite, it's called: Secrets Of The Memory.


What do you love about the writing/reading community?

Writing is such a solitary act and it's comforting to know I'm not alone.


If you could say anything to your readers what would it be?

Read with an open heart and open mind.

AUTHOR INTERVIEW A little introduction: I’m Claude Bouchard, born, raised, and still living in the Montreal (Canada) area. In a prior life, I worked in the corporate world, mainly in human resources management. In 2008, my employer moved our jobs to India and, while I pursued other employment, I published three books I had written long before then continued to write and publish more. Along the way, I realized I had a new job, that of author, and never looked back.  When did your love of books begin? While in kindergarten, my parents had signed me up for a book of the month thing and I remember the excitement whenever a new book showed up in the mail.
