Review:

When you are an addict you are never truly over your issues and instead simply a number of days of having control over your addictions and so when Alice falls off the wagon and has her first drink in over 200 days it means that the next day of not drinking is going to be the start of the counter again but can it also be the start of her new life too?

After Alice meets Bob in a bar as her life is spiralling out of control following her fall from the wagon she finds herself not sure if she can let anyone in when she is truly not sure if she is worthy of love when she hates herself but can she overcome her issues and finally hit that true recovery path she has never believed she is going to achieve?

This book is a beautifully written one which draws the reader in and ensures it keeps your attention throughout as you find yourself binging the book like the addict you read about.  I found the characters were all believable and the subject matter dealt with a sensitive subject matter in a way that was both respectful yet devastatingly honest in the portrayal.
