Set in the 1970s and 80s, this book explores trauma on an individual level and in a national crisis. Little by little, we discover more about the characters' pasts as they trek through the Andes in Peru.
With a small set of characters, we dive deep into their minds amidst suspense and conflict.
Anyone who has lived in South America will enjoy this captivating book that weaves Peru’s culture and Spanish language into the narrative.

AUTHOR INTERVIEW A little introduction: I’m Claude Bouchard, born, raised, and still living in the Montreal (Canada) area. In a prior life, I worked in the corporate world, mainly in human resources management. In 2008, my employer moved our jobs to India and, while I pursued other employment, I published three books I had written long before then continued to write and publish more.
