Bio:


Hi, I’m Andy, would-be Viking, author of Me and The Monkey and lover of the bizarre. My mission – infest the world with my strange creations.

 

Me and The Monkey is my first novel, coming to life as an experiment in having the discipline to write something every day during a period when I was travelling extensively for work. The story was composed on my phone and iPad during train journeys, flights, backstage at events, 2am in hotel rooms, even during stops at motorway service stations. I have also written a short story prequal set in a steam punk Victorian London called The Paddington Incident.

 

I live on the north coast of Cornwall with my artist wife, teenage daughter, cat, two ponies, and constantly growing library. I still secretly think I could be a big wave surfer regardless of what reality, and my knees, tell me.

AUTHOR INTERVIEW A little introduction: I’m Claude Bouchard, born, raised, and still living in the Montreal (Canada) area. In a prior life, I worked in the corporate world, mainly in human resources management. In 2008, my employer moved our jobs to India and, while I pursued other employment, I published three books I had written long before then continued to write and publish more. Along the way, I realized I had a new job, that of author, and never looked back.  When did your love of books begin? While in kindergarten, my parents had signed me up for a book of the month thing and I remember the excitement whenever a new book showed up in the mail. I moved on to the Bobbsey Twins, Hardy Boys, Tom Swift, etc. and have never stopped reading since.  When did you start to have the wish to become an author?
