Review:

I found this book by following this author on Twitter. I am making a real effort to read and review authors I find there, particularly self published authors.  I loved this book! It was such a fun read. I am a big fan of superhero movies and so I was initially intrigued by this book. The main character has very unusual powers that can be a bit scary (beware reader) but, ultimately, are so amazing. The amount of imagination that went into creating this rather flawed individual and her strengths and weaknesses is something to be credited. On top of that, the author breaks the third wall and talks directly to the reader throughout the book which I LOVED way more than I thought I would. It brings you much closer to the main character and you get much more invested in her world, her frustrations and her flaws. You also find yourself rooting for her and loving her way more than you ever thought you would. Bravo Jamie. I'm looking forward to reading your next book in this series.
