Synopsis:

An anonymous benefactor appears in corporate climber Halley Bowen’s life bringing the chance to create her “dream life” in the seaside town of Port Royal and pen her first romance novel. However, Halley’s worry gene is activated by one of the agreement’s stipulations. She must experience within a designated time something which has always alluded her, a grand romance.

Upon arrival in Port Royal and armed with her ideal man checklist, Halley rents a bungalow from contractor Ben Shaw. He scores high marks for triggering heart flutters but fails her perfect guy evaluation. Comic exchanges and mishaps plague Halley and Ben as they endeavor to navigate loves often choppy waters.

To find their happily ever after, they must overcome Ben’s trust issues, Halley’s inability to recognize forever love, and Ben’s uppity ex-girlfriend’s attempts to sabotage their blooming romance. From synchronistic meetings at a park’s enchanted daisy bench, Halley gains unexpected insights from sage Libby Wellington, who companions her toward knowing her heart’s desire.

AUTHOR INTERVIEW A little introduction: I’m Claude Bouchard, born, raised, and still living in the Montreal (Canada) area. In a prior life, I worked in the corporate world, mainly in human resources management. In 2008, my employer moved our jobs to India and, while I pursued other employment, I published three books I had written long before then continued to write and publish more. Along the way, I realized I had a new job, that of author, and never looked back.  When did your love of books begin? While in kindergarten, my parents had signed me up for a book of the month thing and I remember the excitement whenever a new book showed up in the mail.
