Christina Crahall interview
AUTHOR INTERVIEW
When did your love of books begin?
My love of books began when I was a preschooler. Our family storytime favorites included books by Mercer Mayer and Roger Hargreaves.
When did you start to have the wish to become an author?
I started dreaming of becoming an author when I was in fifth grade. Our teacher read books by Scott O'Dell every day after lunch. Our big project that year was to write, illustrate, and bind our own book. When it was time to share our books in front of the class, my classmates enjoyed mine so much they wanted me to read it again.
How have you found the process for becoming an author?
It is a long and challenging process, but I am committed for life.
What would you say to those wanting to become an author?
1. Read and write every day to become a better author. 2. Write what YOU will enjoy reading. 3. Never lose your imagination and drive!
Tell us about your book/books:
I self-published three poetry chapbooks, and they are available on Amazon (amazon.com/author/christinacrahall). Soon, I will be self-publishing a children's A-Z poetry book!
What do you love about the writing/reading community?
I love the sense of community, support, and inspiration. I am always meeting new writers and readers.
If you could say anything to your readers what would it be?
Thank you for being you! I appreciate your attention. Tell me what you enjoy reading the most, and feel free to make requests.
