Review:

When a 16 year old girl loses her family and is forced to move away from her New York life to live on a farm with her 17 year old cousin and her aunt who she had no knowledge of prior to her parents deaths.  The farm life is a dramatic change to the life she has been used to but her cousin is there to help keep her life somewhat together, however, can a damaged young man really help to heal her broken heart and adjust to the new life or will two broken souls simply drag each other into even worse depths of pain and despair?

This book sees a lot of pain and hurt but also a great deal of love, romance and hope.  The book is dark in many places and can leave you feeling uncomfortable in exactly the way the author has aimed to create through atmosphere, situations and dialogue.  The author is a very talented author who weaves together a tale that is full of sexual situations but also manages to have a story developing along with this and for me this gives the story some true depth to it.
