Your community, your book recommendations

 

First of all I want to start with a genuine thank you to everyone who has made Feed My Reads become the amazing community that it is.  We do get people commenting that they love being part of a book community which is full of positivity and supportiveness and this is exactly what we are all about.  Those thanks we get from those people when they comment are thanks to every one of you making people feel this way and so a massive well done for creating the community.

So, next we come to the point behind this blog post.  We are all here because we love books but I am regularly seeing people asking for reading recommendations and for me the best people to give those recommendations are those in the community but I realised that we need a tool to make this even easier for you.

We have already got an account on Twitter which is specifically setup for you to be able to post reviews in a simple way.  The way to get these reviews shared is to follow the simple layout as below and have your review give the book name plus number of stars out of 5 and the review itself.  We are then able to share this with book lovers and ensure that your voice is heard by as many people as possible.

On top of the above way of leaving reviews the community wanted a way to recommend a book and so I have now worked on creating this badge for just that reason.

You can save the image of this badge and if you have a book you have found that you want to recommend you simply send a post with @FeedMyReads tagged and if possible you can also tag the author.  Mention the book name and why you are recommending it and we can then share your recommendation with the Feed My Reads community.
