Calliope Stevens interview

AUTHOR INTERVIEW

A little introduction:

My name is Calliope Stevens and I'm a writer / poet.

When did your love of books begin?

From a very young age. I always got lost in the stories and I just never stopped.

When did you start to have the wish to become an author?

I was about 8 when I started writing poetry and my love of writing has only grown stronger over the years.

How have you found the process for becoming an author?

Frustrating and difficult. My grandmother always said that anything worth having doesn't come easy. So I just keep at it.

What would you say to those wanting to become an author?

Be prepared to work hard and don't be discouraged. You kight get a hundred no's but you only need one yes!

Tell us about your book/books:

My only published book at this time is called Dystopia. The protagonist finds herself on an alien planet with no recollection of how she got there, or who she is. She's just trying to survive a hostile planet and a savage alien culture.

What do you love about the writing/reading community?

How supportive everyone is. I find it really inspiration how much everyone lifts each other up and supports each others work.

If you could say anything to your readers what would it be?

Review books! When you read something you love make sure to let people know. The feedback is really important to the authors and helps others find the book too.
