Review:

When hiking in the Scottish hills you come across a girl who is running like her life depends on getting away, she is naked, desperate and doesn't speak English but what can you do, you're here on holiday.  4 friends decide that they will take her to their holiday home and try to help her but if she is running from something then won't that something come for them too?

This is a thrilling read that is truly top notch from Simon Kernick and doesn't shy away from tension and fear being at the centre of the tale.  If you've never read work from this author then why not take a chance on this one and find just how good his writing actually is?
