Book review - Wish You Were Dead by Peter James

Review:

Roy Grace is a detective superintendent but above all else he is a family man and thankfully he is heading on a holiday to the middle of nowhere in France to enjoy a chateau stay with his wife, children, a partner of a colleague who will be helping with the children and they will be meeting the colleague there so that he can also spend time with his partner too.  The holiday sounds ideal but when the ferry is delayed and they struggle to find the place is this a sign of things to come?

This book is my first time reading work by this author and I can confirm will not be my last.  The story is well worked and has plenty of twists and turns that will keep you guessing throughout and I found that these were not twists and turns you saw coming thanks to the author having worked the writing style so well.
