Review:

Callum has a simple life, he loves video games, he loves watching others playing video games online and he loves his family but when he discovers a love for baking it sparks a true passion in him.  Can boys really be bakers though?  No matter what the school bully can't know about this!  People say he's good though and so how can he spread the joys of his baking without being made fun of or bullied about being a boy who is into baking?

This heart-warming story sees us look at gender biasing and the impact that it can have on people when it comes to their love of things that are not ordinarily considered to be what their gender takes part in and how surely if we love something it should be a focus on the love for it that is important rather than attaching a stigma to it.  The writing is, as always with this author, beautiful and flows perfectly so that the reader can sit back, read and be taken on the journey.  This one has all the ingredients for a great read and thankfully it hasn't been an overbaked idea!
