Book review - Mr Hangman by Scott McGregor

Review:

A serial killer is on the loose after a long gap between their crimes but something doesn't quite seem right about the way they're carrying their crimes out when compared to their previous ones, the crime scenes seem a little different but they are still using a game of hangman to see if their victims get to live or not.  Can the police uncover the truth before more people die?

This is a novella that offers a fast paced and well written read which truly draws you in and start to question things from the outset.  The fact that the author manages to deliver a story with plenty of punch and depth despite it being a short story is a real testament to the talent of Scott.
