Review:

Imagine your daughter has been saved by a donation of a heart, you are delighted that life is getting back to normal, you have a daughter who you were worried you were going to lose and who is now going from strength to strength.  When a letter arrives from the mother of the donor asking to meet your daughter do you do it or do you listen to the advice from the hospital who have said communication can go through them with names identifying information removed?

This book sees this exact conundrum and we find the guilt of being the parent of a donor, the survivors guilt, the sadness of the parent of the deceased person who donated their organs and much more but this is a story with a twist and this is what pushes it to that level of being an amazing read that is recommended to all.
