Nancy O'Hare interview

AUTHOR INTERVIEW

When did your love of books begin?

Since I learned to read. Nancy Drew was a favourite as a kid (nothing to do with our shared names!)

When did you start to have the wish to become an author?

Later in life - only in the past seven years or so.

How have you found the process for becoming an author?

Super interesting, exciting, daunting, dynamic and energizing.

What would you say to those wanting to become an author?

Do it for yourself but accept the help of others. Their input can help improve your writing. For example, take advantage of beta-readers, editors, and writing groups.

Tell us about your book/books:

Two travel books: Searching for Unique and Dust in My Pack
These cover lesser-visited destinations and focus on hiking, trekking and intriguing cultural sites.
Two very simple personal finance handbooks: From Wages to Riches and Reclaim your Financial Wites
Mystery/suspense novel coming in January 2023: The Man in the Barretina Hat

What do you love about the writing/reading community?

The constructive feedback and endless support. Behind the writers are a bunch of voracious readers.

If you could say anything to your readers what would it be?

I hope my travel stories reveal an unexpected side to a destination that make you want to visit it. For my upcoming fiction novel, expect drama, mystery, suspense, cybertechnology, missing persons and foreign intelligence agents.

Where can people connect with you?
