Review:

Laura M. Austin is a true talent and the master of the short story who bring us this book which pulls together 18 stories that highlight just how much a short story can draw you in and make you feel for the characters.  Many people find short stories don't have the depth to draw them in and this is something that I'll acknowledge I have found but when it comes to the work by Laura it is something I have yet to find to be a problem in any of her stories as she manages to develop the story quickly and intelligently so that you are drawn in from the outset.

If you haven't yet checked out Laura and her work then this is a perfect chance to do so and let her know which stories you'd love to see developed into full length works as this is the clear next step from some of these stories.
