Review:
Meredith loves her life, she has her cat called Fred, she loves baking, she gets to work from home and her jigsaws keep her entertained but outside of the door to her house is somewhere she can't comment on as she has been indoors now for 1,214 days.
Meredith has had a difficult childhood with a mother who clearly had no interest in her happiness and a sister who she loved but who chose a man over her sister but now she is grown up she is able to distance herself from the things that have negatively impacted her, unfortunately she has decided this means that everything outside of her front door is not worth having in her life. Tesco home delivery offers a simple way to get her shopping needs met, her friends can visit her if they wish to and if her cat needs the vet then her friend will be able to take him.
This book is a brilliant piece of work that is well written, feels like a truth and has characters who you are able to build feelings towards. As someone who themselves has borderline personality disorder and generalised anxiety disorder I was able to feel for Meredith and have an empathy and understanding of how things can impact on your belief and the ability to put yourself out there.
This is a book that is sure to be a massive success and so I'd recommend having this one ready to go at release date.
