Review:

When the Covid pandemic hit it impacted everyone in the world in some way but whilst we have seen and heard some stories, we only really hear a little bit of what their lives have been like due to Covid, here Nino tells us a little bit about her life being impacted by the pandemic and shows that even with many differences between people, we may find that everything is more relatable than we expect.

The book is written in a way that allows for this serious situation to be focused on one person and steers clear of too much mention of the deaths and suffering going on but instead on how people could feel the challenges they faced without feeling guilt.

As someone who found the lockdown to suit my lifestyle hugely, I found it interesting to have a take from someone who seems in some ways to find the positives but also get frustrated by the negatives of the lockdown and I think that this is something which helps people to maybe allow themselves to consider what has happened and how it has felt so that they can deal with what may not have hit them as being something impacting their lives as much as it has.
