Where are you holding your dinner party?

At an upscale lakeside cabin.


What's the occasion you are holding the dinner party for?

4th of July


Who are your five guests and why are they invited?


They are all invited because they are kind, considerate, and helpful people. I like to surround myself with people like them.


What food are you serving?

Fun summer foods; melon and strawberry kabobs for starters. a choice of grilled hotdogs, hamburgers, or fried chicken and potato salad for the main, and red, white and blue ice cream with jello swirl cake for dessert


What's your cocktail or mocktail for the dinner party?

Since it's an outdoor fun party, we will have a variety of non-alcoholic beverages available.


What music are you having played during your dinner party?

Something fun that we all agree on until the fireworks over the lake begin.


You've raised a book to have a bit of a discussion about, which book is it and why?

Our Lives, Our fortunes and Our Sacred Honor: The Forging of American Independence, 1774-1776 by Richard Beeman because it gives a window into what was going on in obtaining our country's independence. 


It's time for bed, what book are you retiring to your bed with?

The Story of King Arthur and His Knights by Howard Pyle.
