Praising others - Sarah Daniels praise of Melissa Welliver

First of all please introduce yourself: 

Hi, I'm Sarah, I write Young Adult fast-paced, high action near future/sci-fi/dystopian books. My debut comes out July 2022.


Now, you are here to let us all know about someone so who is that?

Melissa Welliver, author of The Undying Tower Trilogy.


OK, why should we know about them?

Melissa's first book (she has more in the pipeline) is a heartstopping dystopian thriller set in a world where some people have stopped ageing. It had me hooked from the first paragraph, and the end of chapter one blew me away.


What do you personally love about them or their work?

In addition to writing stories that draw you in and refuse to let go, Melissa is one of the WriteMentor team. She's in charge of various things, but the reason I decided to write about her today is that she runs the group's writing sprints. She's somewhere between a drill sergeant and a cheerleader, and she somehow manages to herd writers towards their goal of finishing their novels. During NaNoWriMo a lot of us have made progress on our WIPs thanks in part to the creative energy and support of the WriteMentor team.

Claude Bouchard interview

AUTHOR INTERVIEW A little introduction: I’m Claude Bouchard, born, raised, and still living in the Montreal (Canada) area. In a prior life, I worked in the corporate world, mainly in human resources management. In 2008, my employer moved our jobs to India and, while I pursued other employment, I published three books I had written long before then continued to write and publish more. Along the way, I realized I had a new job, that of author, and never looked back.  When did your love of books begin? While in kindergarten, my parents had signed me up for a book of the month thing and I remember the excitement whenever a new book showed up in the mail.
