Book review - The Jackie Chan Fan Club by Sharon Sant

Review:

This is a really unique book which sees fifteen year old Lizzie Holmes living in a household that has a mother who is pretty much constantly holed up dealing with her life as the head of a Jackie Chan fan club and a father who is trying to simply keep things ticking over until their mother is ready to come down and help out.  When a young visitor arrives from Sweden it is left to Lizzie to keep him company and make sure he is OK but with hormones racing and a household which is in disarray can Lizzie handle a romance that she feels is on the cards?

This book is superbly written and whilst it is obvious that this is one of the authors earlier works, as you can see the development in her writing style, this is a really enjoyable read that makes the reader know this is someone who is going to be a real talent in the future.
